One fact that stands out in this story is the situation of this future arena. Indeed, Mesa is located even further than Tempe, where the Coyotes currently play. The Yotes' future adopted city is 30KM from Phoenix. As the Twitter account @CANSportbetting reminds us, it's as if the Canadiens played in Blainville or on Île-Perrot.




One has to wonder if moving in this way will be a win for the organization or not. While many criticize this idea, others think that getting closer to the team's fan base will have a real advantage.
