Some movement to come officially tomorrow for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens?

There have been several updates in the last few minutes regarding the Montreal Canadiens' injuries.

Jonathan Drouin and Mike Hoffman were back at practice with a regular jersey, while Mike Matheson, David Savard, Sean Monahan and Brendan Gallagher were absent.

As Charles-Alexis Brisebois notes, the Habs currently have four of the 23 players on the official roster who did not skate today and appear to be on track to miss games.

There are also two players on the injured list (Drouin and Hoffman) who appear to be on track to return to action soon, but not necessarily for the next game.

An announcement to come.

So, either way, barring a big turn of events, we'll be treated to some personnel movement tomorrow.

Kent Hughes will have to make one of the following decisions:

1) Recall a Rocket forward (like Anthony Richard?)

2) Activate a player from the injured list (like Mike Hoffman?)

3) Claim a player from waivers

4) Make a trade

In all cases, it's going to take a personnel move to create space on the roster (of 23 players) and to simply have enough players to dress.

So that's to be followed, but expect an announcement to that effect tomorrow. Unless miraculously, all the players suddenly come back healthy for tomorrow's game.
