As you know, earlier this week, the Montreal Canadiens won the 2022 NHL lottery and secured the first overall pick in the upcoming draft. (to be held at the Bell Centre on July 7th)
Since then, Shane Wright's name has been buzzing around town.
The youngster was interviewed by Yanick Bouchard and Frédéric Plante on RDS's 5 à 7, and in addition to answering many questions about his expectations and ambitions for the draft, the youngster made a surprising and unexpected announcement that really pleases Montreal Canadiens fans.
Shane Wright is categorical: he will start learning the French language right away. He absolutely wants to have, at least, a passable French.
