Potential signing for the Canadiens? Free Agent Forward Spotted in Montreal with His Equipment

August is also the perfect time to continue improving his lineup as many players are still without a contract. With training camps quickly approaching, they will want to secure a spot on a league roster and will certainly be ready to sign a bargain deal.
One of these intriguing players is 28-year-old forward Jujhar Khaira. The latter, who has a physical style of play that few have with the CH, was recently spotted by Jack Han at Montreal's airport with all his equipment.
According to what can be read on social media, several Oilers fans would like to see him back in their organization, having been drafted by them in the third round (63rd overall) in the 2012 draft. Although he was never among the top six forwards during his first stint in Edmonton, he quickly became a fan favorite and played a solid role on the team.
He could very well become that with the Montreal Canadiens, who have very few players of this kind in their lineup.
Although his offensive abilities have never translated to the NHL level, Khaira has established a different playing style as a power forward on the third and fourth lines. In addition to his physical play, you can easily expect about fifteen points from him annually, as well as being an excellent leader in the locker room.
However, according to what people who directly responded to Jack Han have reported, the Octogon and Quartexx agencies hold their annual camp in Montreal every year. It's quite possible that Khaira will participate in one of them.
Still, the arrival of the colossus of 6 feet and 4 inches and 212 pounds would give a new dimension to the club's attack. A file to follow!
