There has been some movement within the Montreal Canadiens organization in the last few hours.

First of all, in his role as general manager of the Laval Rocket, Kent Hughes recalled Anthony Beauregard and Santino Centorame from the Trois-Rivières Lions.

"The Laval Rocket has announced that it has recalled forward Anthony Beauregard and defenseman Santino Centorame from the Trois-Rivières Lions."

Also, a new Quebec goalie officially joins the organization, as the Trois-Rivieres Lions have hired 27-year-old Quebec goalie Francis Marotte.

This could say a lot about the injury suffered by Cayden Primeau. Will he be out longer than expected? Stay tuned!

Going back to Marotte, he has a 14-12-5 career record in the ECHL and had an outstanding career in the NCAA (plus 10 career games in the AHL)

"LIONS ACQUIRE QUEBEC GOAL GUARD FRANCIS MAROTTE!

The 27-year-old, traded in return for financial compensation, has played 35 games with the Americans and Thunder over the past three seasons, recording a 14-12-5 record." - Trois-Rivières Lions

More details to come.
