Max Domi Shockingly Defends Habs Fans in a Toronto Media Scrum

Max Domi was answering questions from Maple Leafs journalists, for the first time since his arrival in Toronto, and a journalist immediately threw in his face an old statement that Domi made when he was playing with the Montreal Canadiens.
"In 2019, when he was with the Habs, Domi stated that there is nothing better than the atmosphere in Montreal and the Canadiens' fans.
He added that the fans in Montreal were at a whole different level than those in Toronto, which had caused an uproar among fans and media of the Maple Leafs at the time."

Basically, Domi really praised the Canadiens' fans, mentioning that he loves the fans in Montreal, much more than those of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
So he was confronted with this statement, in the last few minutes, by the Toronto media.

How did Domi respond?
By going back on his statement to praise Toronto fans, now that he is with the Leafs? By belittling the Montreal Canadiens fans?
Not at all!

"To be completely honest with you, playing in Montreal was one of the best experiences of my life. The fans have been incredible to me, and I certainly miss playing for the Canadiens."

He then obviously added that he is still happy to play for the Leafs now, but kudos to Max for his response!
