Matt Murray under investigation by the NHL for cheating during the game

Leafs goalie Matt Murray is in trouble again, for the third time this season, for net manipulation.

Remember this a few month back:


Basically, Murray is being accused of purposefully loosening his net in order to be able to easily knock it off its posts. This would give the Maple Leafs an obvious unfair advantage in danger situations.


While it couldn't be proven before, Matt Murray couldn't resist playing with his goalposts mid-game during yesterday's game vs the Flyers. He was caught on camera in this incredibly incriminating clip:


It raised eyebrows, Insider Michael Russo said that there is ongoing league investigations concerning the subject:



Whether Murray is confirmed to be cheating or not, he should probably be focussing on the game in front of him and nothing else.
