Mathias Brunet just raised a major trade proposal between the Habs and the Sabres involving Devon Levi
Last night on BPM Sports, the journalist Mathias Brunet returned on the following major information, revealed by Max Truman:
Basically, Brunet explained that a young goalie is excessively unpredictable, even if he has phenomenal statistics in his current league.
He would therefore not want to pay too much to acquire the services of a possible "goalie of the future", like Devon Levi.
Brunet wouldn't give a first round pick:
On the other hand, the journalist was willing to step forward and talk about some of the things he would be willing to trade for Devon Levi. He names two of them:
- Jayden Struble
- A second round pick
"You don't give away a top prospect, you don't give away a first-round pick." - Mathias Brunet
Still an interesting proposition. Would you do it? Do you think the Buffalo Sabres would accept, given that they have a surplus of young goalies?
In light of all this, consider our offer:
To the Canadiens:
- Devon Levi (G)
To the Sabres:
- Jayden Struble (D)
- 2024 second-round pick from Colorado
- Devon Levi (G)
To the Sabres:
- Jayden Struble (D)
- 2024 second-round pick from Colorado
