BY ELIAS SEPTEMBER 12, 2023 (1:10 PM)
It was to announce a new partnership, but obviously, the journalists present on the scene asked numerous questions related to hockey and Carey's future.
Notably, Price was questioned about the possibility of being traded.
What would his reaction be if he was traded by Kent Hughes?
See his response:
"Everyone knows that hockey is a business - managing money and cap space is part of it; no matter what happens, I will be a Montreal Canadien for the rest of my life and I am very proud of that, so I am ready to help this team in every aspect."

He adds that he is indeed ready to do anything to help this organization and make it more competitive. If that means he needs to be traded (most likely to Arizona), if it helps the team, he will be happy to do it and accept.
Wow! He is a true blue and we love it! So he would not prevent a transaction involving him.
"I am really open to helping the team, even if that means trading me," adds Carey
