So, stay tuned to see if this materializes, but clearly, Engels seems to believe that Kent Hughes hasn't finished his shopping.
The next player to leave might well be goaltender Casey DeSmith.
This aligns perfectly with the information obtained over the weekend. Case to follow.
Traded to the Canadiens as part of the mega three-team deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins and the San Jose Sharks, DeSmith is a 31-year-old American goaltender. In 134 games with the Penguins, he boasts a more than respectable save percentage of 0.912.
