MUST SEE: Jonathan Drouin is already making a name for himself in Colorado following a video, and the fans of the Montreal Canadiens are also wishing him all the best

Last July, instead of extending his association with the Montreal Canadiens, Jonathan Drouin instead agreed to the terms of a one-season deal valued at $825,000, with the Colorado Avalanche.

This signing was certainly made in the hope of reviving his career, alongside his former teammate from the Halifax Mooseheads, Nathan MacKinnon, while the main person involved recently admitted to having refused more advantageous offers.


It will therefore be interesting to see if the Québécois will win his bet which is to revive his career. It seems, according to what was caught by reporter Evan Rawal from Colorado Hockey Now, that the former CH player is already beginning to find chemistry with his old friend. The two were seen, alone on the ice, training together.


This promises to be good and it's excellent news for Jonathan! This connection is already causing a buzz in Colorado, and for the right reasons.

In 321 regular season games in the Canadiens uniform, Drouin accumulated 48 goals, 138 assists, for a total of 186 points. He added 7 points in 10 playoff appearances with the Montreal club.

For his part, MacKinnon's reputation is well established. The forward has accumulated 755 points, in 709 regular season games. Not to mention his 100 points in playoff series, his Stanley Cup ring, and his many individual honors won over the course of his career.

With everything he has had to endure since his arrival with the CH, let's hope for Drouin that this new start with the Avalanche will benefit him. One thing is for sure, his new teammate, Cale Makar, doesn't seem too worried about him.
