On this Saturday, we learned very sad news.

The great Yvon Pedneault has unfortunately passed away due to a sudden illness.

The entire media world is in shock, and he is receiving praise from all corners of the hockey world (even from the USA).

We once again offer our deepest condolences to his loved ones and his family.


In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization has made a beautiful gesture by releasing an official statement to honor Mr. Pedneault's legacy.

This really means a lot!

It is with great sadness that the Montreal Canadiens organization learned this morning of the passing of esteemed journalist Yvon Pedneault, who left his mark on the Club as a reporter and analyst.

Pedneault was a vital part of the Quebecer sports media landscape for over half a century.

A sports enthusiast, Pedneault always combined passion and professionalism in his work. His contagious energy and authenticity will be missed by everyone who had the chance to know him.
