There has just been a major development concerning Alex Galchenyuk.

As reported by the excellent Greg Wyshynski from ESPN, Galchenyuk has officially entered the NHL and NHLPA Player Assistance Program.

"Alex Galchenyuk has entered the NHL and NHLPA Player Assistance Program. He apologized to the Scottsdale police and the Arizona Coyotes." - Greg Wyshynski

This is honestly great news, and it's really good that he can receive help. We wish him all the best.


Let's also applaud the significant gesture he made by apologizing to the Scottsdale police.

It doesn't fix everything, but it speaks volumes.
