Breaking: Top Player Leaves KHL to Join the NHL

The promising Russian forward, Nikolai Kovalenko, will soon be signing a contract with the team that selected him in the sixth round of the 2018 draft.
Kovalenko, 23 years old, is a 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190-pound forward. He turned out to be a steal in the 2018 draft, having gathered 54 points in 56 games in the KHL last season.
He's a real talented prospect. He was the 11th highest scorer in the KHL last year (and the third highest for points per game played), all at just 23 years old!
Could he be the next Kirill Kaprizov? We'll have to keep an eye on him, but he would undoubtedly be a fantastic addition to the Avalanche lineup. His stats are impressive, especially for someone his age.
