BIG CONTROVERSY IN TAMPA BAY: COOPER GETS EMOTIONAL AND SUDDENLY LEAVES HIS PRESS BRIEFING

JUN 23, 2022  (9H26)      MARCO
Last night, the Colorado Avalanche put themselves in a great position to win the 2022 Stanley Cup with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Avalanche currently lead the series 3-1.

After the game, just minutes after Nazem Kadri scored the winning goal, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper went before the media for his traditional media availability and was emotional to say the least.

Frustrated with the situation, Cooper answered one question and suddenly left his press conference.

He claims there were six players on the ice on the Avalanche side.

"I'm going to have to talk to you tomorrow... You'll see what I mean when you see the winning goal. My heart breaks for the players because we should probably still be playing."

A big controversy ensued.

If you look at the game sheet (and video replays), it confirms that there were indeed six players on the ice. Ayoye.
