Forward Auston Matthews has just signed a very lucrative contract extension.

He has just signed a highly lucrative four-season contract extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He will officially become the highest paid player in the NHL. Wow.

We're talking about a 4-season deal with an annual salary of $13,250,000 for Auston Matthews. (A total of $53 million)
