The Habs draft picks and signings of the past five years are gradually making their way into professional hockey and there is much to celebrate for Habs fans.

Cole Caufield is rocking the city of Montreal along with center and captain Nick Suzuki with their combined 48 points in 24 games this season. Newcomer Kirby Dach seems to be the perfect addition to the CH's top line with 18 points in 24 games.

Added to these names are defensemen Kaiden Guhle, Jordan Harris and Arber Xhekaj who are showing a lot of potential this season as well as forward Juraj Slafkovsky, the first pick in the 2022 draft.

The CH's youngsters are getting attention.

Also this week, Team Canada Junior announced its list of players invited to training camp for the World Junior Championship. Three Canadiens prospects will have the chance to showcase their skills in an effort to be among the young players who will represent Canada in Halifax and Moncton from December 26 to January 5.

All three forwards have been impressive in the junior ranks with very successful point totals so far this season. Joshua Roy is playing brilliantly in the QMJHL, already amassing 18 goals and 24 assists in 25 games. Owen Beck is also making a name for himself with an incredible 30 points in 23 games in the Ontario Hockey League. Finally, Riley Kidney is off to an amazing start with 41 points in 27 QMJHL games.

Cayden Primeau's performance with the Laval Rocket also shows a promising future in net for the CH.

All indications are that the future is bright in Montreal. It remains to be seen how the Habs' new management, who also seem very promising, will develop the Habs' young talent.
