Another possible trade between the Flames and the Habs to come

Just when it seems to be the calm before the storm in the National Hockey League, the Calgary Flames are once again a team to watch closely.

After acquiring Jonathan Huberdeau and Mackenzie Weegar, general manager Brad Treliving is reportedly looking for a new trading partner.

He wants to add another element.

According to journalist Steve Macfarlane, the Flames are open to several options. He mentions the names of Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane (Blackhawks), Josh Bailey and Anthony Beauvillier (Islanders), Tyler Bertuzzi (Red Wings), and also, he believes that the Flames are also interested in acquiring Christian Dvorak or Josh Anderson (Canadiens).


In the case of the Islanders, if they do sign Nazem Kadri, a player will have to leave and a club like Calgary could take advantage of that.

In the case of the Canadiens, to help sign Kirby Dach, a player like Dvorak could also leave, but Kent Hughes will be quite expensive.
