Brock Boeser's name has been linked to the Montreal Canadiens since the trade rumors in the last few days, but we did not have a concrete offer.

We finally have one.

While many insiders have been confirming the Habs' interest in Boeser over the past few hours, now we have a concrete price.

"A team could acquire Brock Boeser for as little as a second or third round pick, based on the information I have." - John Matisz

Interesting! Would you do it?

TO MONTREAL - Brock Boeser

TO VANCOUVER - Second or third round pick
.

If the price Matisz is putting forward is indeed the Canucks' asking price, this could be a possible big move to make. It would confirm what the renowned Elliott Friedman was saying, as the Canucks know they won't get a big return for Boeser by trading him in the middle of the season, but they're fine with that.

Boeser, 25, is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound winger who was drafted in the first round in 2015. He has one of the best shots in the entire NHL and his potential is huge.

We're talking about a player who produced at a rate of 40 goals per 82 games in his rookie season with the Canucks. He also produced at rates of 73 and 70 points in his first two seasons.

This seems like a great opportunity for a general manager to acquire a good player, at a low price. Do you think Kent Hughes should try to acquire Boeser? Especially at this price?
